Elaine Shiu is a Vice President of Northleaf Capital Partners Ltd. She participates in all aspects of Northleaf’s investment activities， including the origination， evaluation and monitoring of primary and secondary Fund Investments and Direct Co-Investments. She is actively involved in the investment sourcing and manager research relating to Northleaf’s investments in Asia and in North American buyout opportunities. In addition， she is involved in Northleaf’s investor relations and business development activities， Ms. Shiu serves on the advisory boards of several partnerships within Northleaf’s portfolio.
Prior to joining Northleaf’s predecessor， TD Capital Private Equity Investors， in 2004， Ms. Shiu worked at AOL Time Warner in corporate development and partner marketing where she focused on acquisitions and subscriber partnerships. Previously， Ms. Shiu was a management consultant with Bain & Company in Toronto and London where she worked on a variety of strategy assignments including private equity， telecommunications， Internet related and financial services cases.
Ms. Shiu received an H.B.A. with distinction and an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business， University of Western Ontario.
