Juan-Pablo Mas

Juan-Pablo Mas is one of Morgenthaler Ventures' Senior Associate. Juan-Pablo joined Morgenthaler Ventures in July 2011 from Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a Senior Associate on the Life Science Team. Juan-Pablo is based in Menlo Park， CA and primarily focuses on investments in the life science and medical device sectors. He is a Board observer at Cabochon Aesthetics， Innovative Pulmonary Solutions， Miramar， & The Foundry.

Prior to business school， Juan-Pablo worked at Medtronic in the CardioVascular （CV） Division. He was in early stage R&D for the New Technologies Team， served as a Project Leader in the Vascular Ventures organization， and in Marketing on the Pipeline Strategy Team. He was named “Medtronic Inventor of The Year” for the CV Division， and has 30+ medical device patents， granted or pending. Additional experiences include roles in Global Brand Strategy at Eli Lilly & Co.， Research Associate in Stanford Hospital’s Neurology Dept.， and Consultant to various early stage medical companies.
