Jean Plamondon

Jean Plamondon is a Partner of Idinvest Partners for Co-investments/LBO， he joined Idinvest Partners in 2006. He was previously Investment Director at ING Parcom Private Equity， a mid-market LBO investor， since 2002. Before this he was Investment VP for buyouts within the Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec in Paris. In 1991 he took part at Acland in the raising and the investment of a €60 mmid-cap MBO fund invested in France with HSBC/Montagu as sponsor. He began his career in the private equity sector in 1985 at Citicorp Venture Capital France. Prior to this he was project engineer at CGI， an IT service company now part of IBM.

Jean received an electrical engineering degree from McGill University in Montreal and holds a McGill MBA （joint program with MBA HEC in Paris）.
