Jeff Loomans

Armed with a BS in Symbolic Systems and a MS in Computer Science from Stanford University， Jeff Loomans founded two companies based in Silicon Valley， Integrated Business Software and OnLink Technologies， both of which were sold to larger entities， the latter to Siebel Systems （acquired by Oracle）. Known as the eclectic member of Sierra’s investment team， Jeff likes to invest in companies that are not typically in the sights of other venture firms but have strong upside potential， trailblazers that are carving out new markets and segments. Jeff is now a Partner at Sierra Ventures， responsible for enterprise and consumer internet software， as well as clean technology investments. He has led the Firm’s investments in and serves on the boards of Corrigo， Expresso Fitness， MIOX， Red5 Studios， Zoom Systems and Solannex.
